ONE SIZE - TWO SHAPES

BioDerm® is available in one size which is easy-to-fit for almost all men over the age of twelve years. It is widely accepted that indwelling catheters can increase the risk of urinary tract infection. External continence devices, such as BioDerm®, are less likely to cause urinary tract infection.

Indwelling catheters can also enlarge the urinary opening, so
BioDerm® is available in two different shapes:

ECD (circular) – for regular shaped urinary openings.

XLS (oval) – for enlarged or irregular urinary openings (ie damage from catheters).

There is no need to remove BioDerm® if you wish to perform intermittent self-catheterisation; it can easily be performed with BioDerm® in place.

Two shapes - To fit almost all men.
