BEST RESULTS

Bladder problems can sometimes dramatically affect quality of life. BioDerm® is a clever new alternative for men seeking a practical method of management.

The BioDerm® Learning Curve
Some urinary incontinence products cause the head of the penis to become ‘over wet’. There may be a brief learning curve (several applications of BioDerm®) whilst the unique adhesive returns the natural moisture balance to the head of penis. During this period, BioDerm® may need to be replaced more frequently.

Please be aware of the learning curve when choosing a convenient time to begin using BioDerm®.

BioDerm® is one of the latest urinary incontinence products, especially designed to help men with bladder problems lead a more comfortable life.

To get the best from BioDerm®

  • It is important to thoroughly clean the glans.

The glans secretes an oil, which must be removed by careful washing.

  • Do not use liquid soap to clean the glans.

Liquid soap contains silicone, which may prevent adhesion. Use a plain, non-moisturising bar of soap. All soap should be thoroughly rinsed off.

  • Dry thoroughly.

Excess moisture will prevent adhesion. Pat dry – do not rub.

  • Warm and mould to shape.

Ensure the adhesive petals are warmed and well sealed to the underside of the glans.

  • Do not touch the adhesive surfaces.

They are designed to adhere only once. Repeated touching reduces adhesion.

  • BioDerm® is easy to apply.  Please read the full ‘instructions for use’ supplied with every BioDerm®.
